Aloha Salt Lake County.  My name is Vance Ohumukini.  I teach hula or Hawaiian dance.  With technology today, including DVDs and the World Wide Web, one might wonder – Why should I take lessons when I can turn the TV on or hop on the computer to learn hula? Although that may seem like a quick and economic choice for you, it lacks a good foundation. It is like trying to read and write without learning the alphabet first.  I studied and danced hula since I was 8 years old.  My Kumu (teachers) were Alapa’i Kahuena, Hank Ohumukini, and Keola Ohumukini.  I teach ages 13 and older out of my home (Cinnabar Lane, Cottonwood Heights, Utah) or on location (in your home).  Lessons are $20 cash per lesson, due at the beginning of each class.  If you want to learn the basics of hula, about 6-7 lessons, message me below.  Mahalo.
